Talvez maior lançamento indie do ano (em número de faixas), “Day of the Dead” contempla e celebra a carreira da banda norte-americana The Grateful Dead, em projeto curado pelo trio Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner e Josh Kaufman, do excelente The National.
